Also known as Earth and set in the year 2019. Mostly it's extremely similar to the regular version of Earth except more technologically advanced. Some people can be born with special gifts but it's still fairly rare.
The Reaper World
The Reaper world exists outside of all of the other realms and mainly consists of nothing but reapers. Angels, demons, gods and other spirits are only allowed here with permission or under certain circumstances. It experiences all four seasons and all elements but to a milder degree than Earth does. Every new reaper is given a free starter apartment which isn't much at all but the longer they work, the better the housing gets. Here is the only place where a reaper feels the need to do such everyday activities such as sleep, eat and even shop for new clothing. They even have their own form of entertainment.
Most reapers spend days or weeks on duty in the Human world, guiding souls to the afterlife. Every reaper has a quota to fill per day and are given two days off a week to relax and enjoy themselves. What days they take off are scheduled by the Reaper Headquarters to ensure there are enough out there doing their jobs. Headquarters is the largest building in the center of town, consisting of many offices and board rooms. The reapers who work here are the elder, more experienced ones - individuals who have paid off their debt and decided to remain in the Reaper world rather than go to heaven. They are promoted from their previous roles working on the ground to running the Headquarters or taking on jobs outside such as running shops. Any who continue to work in the Headquarters become higher-ups and lower ranked reapers report to them.
The young Soul Stealers are the most abundant around as they are most common found across the world. They are the corruption of one single soul. They tend to move fast but aren't terribly strong but can phase through walls in order to case after souls or escape Reapers. These only tend to come out at night.
